Sport
'Certainly winning counts, but it is how you play the game that makes you a legend!'
Every student at Mount Sinai College is given the opportunity to participate in and enjoy sports on a regular basis. The comprehensive physical education program is an integral part of the curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our emphasis is on participation, doing your best and developing a positive attitude towards all sporting endeavours.
The College’s students have the opportunity to compete in a range of team sports. There are several major carnivals throughout the year including swimming, cross country and athletics.
Mount Sinai students continually experience success as they strive to participate in the regional A.S.I.S.S.A. (All Suburbs Independent Schools Sports Association) and State C.I.S. (Combined Independent Schools) championships and teams.
Our primary A.S.I.S.S.A. interschool sports program offers students ample opportunities to compete in a vast range of sports against other Jewish and non-Jewish schools.
In addition to sporting competitions, the school offers a range of regular activities designed to encourage our girls and boys to lead active, healthy lives.
