SPORT AT MOUNT SINAI COLLEGE
Our comprehensive physical education program is an integral part of the curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6.
In order to build and nurture the "whole child" Mount Sinai College ensures that opportunities are created for physical health, fitness and well-being. Every student at Mount Sinai College is given the opportunity to participate in and enjoy sport on a regular basis. The comprehensive physical education program is an integral part of the curriculum from Preschool to Year 6. Our emphasis is on participation, doing your best and developing a positive attitude towards all sporting endeavours. The College’s students have the opportunity to compete in a range of team sports including netball, Oz-Tag, cricket, T-ball, AFL and European handball. There also are several major carnivals throughout the year including swimming, cross country and athletics.
Mount Sinai students continually experience success as they strive to participate in the regional A.S.I.S.S.A. (All Suburbs Independent Schools Sports Association) and State C.I.S. (Combined Independent Schools) championships and teams.
