Meirav Shulkin – Foundation Chair

Meirav’s connection to Mount Sinai College runs deep, with three children who have been part of its community. Her daughters, Talia & Danielle, have graduated from MSC in 2013 & 2015 while her son, Aidan, is currently in year 6. She, and husband Ronnie, are strong advocates of the school’s ethos and culture. 

Meirav’s career spans over 25 years in the financial services and investments sectors. Her experience includes funds management, financial advisory & property investing. She is currently managing investments in the digital assets sector. Meirav is dedicated to the continued success of the school and to enabling more children to benefit from the unique MSC experience.

Daryn Saretzki – President of Mount Sinai College

Daryn is currently the President of the Board of Mount Sinai College and has been on the Board for the past 8 years; two of his sons have graduated from MSC and are at Moriah with a 3rd son Remy in Year 3.  Daryn’s family have a long history at MSC with his wife going through the College as one of the first cohorts; his father in-law, Jeff Houseman, was also the Treasurer. 

Daryn is EY Oceania’s Lead Partner for Strategy and Transactions for Financial Services organisations – he has worked there for the past 18 years. Daryn has been passionate about Jewish education and affordability – his desire is to enable access to a Jewish education for as many of our community as possible is what has motivated him to be involved with the College.

Tim Greenstein – Life Governor, former parent 

Tim Greenstein is highly experienced in business management at senior management and executive/ Director level in private and listed Companies with a particular emphasis and extensive experience in retail & wholesale disciplines, focused on Supply Chain, Technology and E-commerce. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and has a strong track record of supporting and driving agendas of innovation, business improvement, growth, and profitability. Tim is a passionate advocate for Jewish Education, and in particular Mount Sinai College having served as a previous board member and President. He is now a Life Governor.

Phil Roberts – former Principal Mount Sinai College (2003-2023)

Phil has a long history with Mount Sinai College spanning 33 years, 21 of which as Principal. Phil retired from Mount Sinai in July 2023 and is now pleased to be on the Foundation as this keeps him connected to the Mount Sinai community. Phil now works as an educational consultant and as an ICF accredited Leadership and Life Coach. Having invested most of his working life in Mount Sinai, Phil is keen to see the school flourish, evolve and maintain its outstanding reputation in the Jewish and education community.

Gina Cohen – current parent

Gina Cohen served on the Mount Sinai Board of Directors for 5 years before joining the Foundation. She began her a career as a lawyer at a top-tier firm before moving to the non-profit sector where she has worked for over two decades with roles spanning public policy, philanthropy and social justice. 

Gina is currently the Executive Director of the Shalom Gamarada Indigenous Scholarship Program which provides scholarships for Indigenous students studying long-haul degrees at UNSW. Gina is married to Daniel Cohen, and their son Jayden was at Mt Sinai from year K -6 and their youngest son Zac is currently in year 4.

“I believe that each child who is privileged to have a Jewish education at primary school level is instilled with a deep connection to their culture and heritage. It evokes pride in who they are and fosters a lifelong understanding of the beauty of community. Every child at Mount Sinai experiences this and it will inform their identify forever.”

Marc Schwartz – current parent

Marc Schwartz is a father of four children. Two of his children are currently students at Mount Sinai College, one has already graduated, and another will start school in 2026. Marc's wife, Stefanie, an alumnus of the school, served on the school board for many years and currently holds the position of vice president. Additionally, Marc's father-in-law, Philip Symonds, is a past president and current honorary life governor of MSC. Marc himself is currently on the executive committee of the JCA, following years of active participation.

Throughout his career, Marc has gained experience in financial services and manufacturing, among others. He is also the founder of Blackfox Property, a real estate private equity business.

Michael Glick – former parent

Michael has been involved in the Footwear Importation and Sourcing Business for over 35 years. Michael is passionate about client and people relations and the important role of Jewish Education within our community. Michael and his wife Debbie’s association with Mount Sinai College spans 23yrs where both their children Jaime and Damon graduated in 2010 and 2013 respectively.
